rPG Lover Studio built the WhelpTracker app as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by rPG Lover Studio and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
1. Data Collection & Usage
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect and store the following types of information to provide and improve our Service:
- App Data: WhelpTracker stores the whelping and litter records you create — including litter names, breed types, puppy counts, dates, temperature records, notes, and whelp reports — locally on your device. We do not upload this data to our servers. No account is required, and we do not collect your name, email address, or profile picture.
- Device Information: We may collect device-specific information (such as your hardware model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers like Advertising ID). This data is collected by Google AdMob for advertising purposes.
2. Payments & Subscriptions
WhelpTracker offers optional Pro subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive, collect, or store your payment card details. Google Play provides the app with a purchase token and subscription status, which we use only to unlock and verify Pro features. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in Google Play, and you can manage or cancel them at any time in your Google Play account.
3. Third-Party Services
The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party service providers:
- Google AdMob (used to display advertisements). AdMob may use device identifiers to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
- Google Play Billing (used to process Pro subscription payments)
4. Advertising & Consent
Where required by applicable law, the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads and provides a privacy options entry point in Settings so you can review or change your choices. You may also remove banner ads by subscribing to Pro.
5. Permissions
The app requests specific permissions to function correctly:
- Notifications: Used to send local alerts for whelping milestones (e.g., Pre-Labor and Whelp days).
- Internet Access: Used to process subscription purchases, load advertisements, and check for app updates.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
- Retention: Your app data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. We do not keep server-side copies of your litter records.
- Deletion: You can delete individual records and dams within the app, or remove all app data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription; cancel it in Google Play if you no longer wish to be billed.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Service is a utility tool (whelping calendar/tracker) and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
